Helping Out at LARP City Project

First off, I would like to thank everyone for their support so far, it has been great! We are making great progress and I appreciate all of your assistance to help with that.

I have been getting a lot of questions from people on what they can do to help and I would like to make a broad announcement on this to enlist your help on making this happen as rapidly as possible.

The immediate things we need to do are:

1. Get more LARP players to like our FaceBook page:

This is vital because we will be hosting surveys there on where the site will be located and how it will be designed, and I want to have as much of the LARP community represented in these votes as possible.

2. Get donations of gear, garb, weapons, etc. These will be used in our fundraisers to help in funding the site.

3. Find potential locations. We are looking for about 20-30 good locations, distributed as evenly as possible across the entire U.S. that the community can then vote on. They need to be at least 50 acres and the land must be for sale. Not for lease.

4. We are looking for people who are interested in being a partner on this project. This does not require investing money and it doesn’t matter where you live. It requires someone who is a self starter and who is passionate about the project. Your position and duties will be determined based on your skills and abilities. It will be a volunteer position at first (maybe an hour or two a week, or whatever you can do) and then when we open it can turn into a salaried position as part of the management of the company.

Feel free to message us at the FaceBook page or e-mail me at [email protected] if you are interested in helping.
